Digital Scrapbooking

LOVE IT! I just recently started getting back into it and have found even more fun and exciting sites and ideas! I have soooo much catching up to do! But I can digitally scrap much quicker than really scrapping... and it's much cheaper! Especially if you can find all the freebies on the Internet!  Her are some that I did before Makoa was born... (yah, it's been a while!)

These are all 8.5x11 because I was hoping to just print them myself, but that didn't work. You might notice that I love to do pictures of my nieces and nephew... aren't they positively adorable! (they're much more grown up now!)

So there's a few I've done.  You can scrap 8x10s and have them printed at costco... or up to 12x12s and order them in a book ( I recommend mpix.com, or blurb.com for prices. I've heard shutterfly.com works too! but they don't have a downloadable program (which I prefer)...)

I completed Makoa's first year on mpix with 36, 10x10 pages and with shipping and everything it only cost me $49... NOT BAD! I'm trying blurb this time around... just to compare.

Some sites I recommend for digital scrapping that also have freebies are:

http://www.freedigitalscrapbooking.com

http://www.digitalscrapbooking.com/

http://www.ScrapGirls.com

http://www.shabbyprincess.com

http://www.digitalfreebies.com

http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com

... you can also Google "digital scrapbooking" or " digital scrap freebies" (something of that sort) and you'll find tons of sites! Good luck! I'd love to see what ideas you have!

You totally read my mind! I have been meaning to email you to ask you about your digital scrapbooking and where to go because i think I want to try it and low and behold you blogged them! Thanks so much! I love your pages. Another question though, how did you do your layout. I am thinking I want to create my own because I keep changing it, but I don't have any idea how to do it. Any suggestions?

fun fun. I love digital scrapbooking as well, especially since we now live in a smaller home where there is no room for the real thing. I get in my phases though... right now I'm in an "off" phase and haven't done it in a while. You may have just inspired me to do a page.... we'll see. Your pages look GREAT though!

They look great! Maybe I'll do that too. I have spent tons of $ over the last 10 years and only have one scrapbook for Kobe...I'm pitiful huh?! Thanks for the idea! Oh yeah, I have a new celebrity crush...Carl and I just watched this movie called Bella and his name is: Eduardo Verastegui! So cute, esp. when his hair is short!
