Sweet Nothings...

I feel like writing, but for no particular reason. We're flying outta here in a few days, I can hardly believe it. Utah. I really do love it despite the stereotypes.

Some of the things I am looking forward to are: Hogle Zoo, Road Tripping to Vegas, Seeing my Grandma, Awesome Aunts, Cousins and Friends! I'm looking forward to having our own little place with our own room and living area. Having a running car. Dinner with family and friends. Fresh Strawberries in the spring. Sweet Corn. Pumpkin patches! Lagoon. Road Trips. Camping! Target. Tucanos, Spaghetti Factory, Yamatos, Chillis, Outback Steakhouse, Del Taco, Wendys! Having Bri do my hair. Shopping at a real Mall. Plays. Going to the Temple! Road Trips. Bed Bath & Beyond. Did I mention Road Trips?

Things I will miss most about Kauai are: My parents & Siblings. Sianni. The Greenleafs. The Fultons. Kapaa 2nd Ward. Kealia. Fuji (Baby) Beach. The Sunsets over the mountains. The Sunrise over the ocean. The weather. All the attention Makoa gets. Watching Tyler play football and soccer. Kintaros. The amazing Food! Parties. Running into friends & classmates all the time! Shave Ice. The Bike Path along the ocean. Plumerias! The warm rain. The coconut trees. My clients. Watching my siblings grow up. The people! The Fruit. Being able to plant just about Anything, Anytime of the year! Having healthy skin. The Photo Ops! (To name a few!)

On a different note...

Our Photography Enrichment Group took family portraits as a service to the families in our ward, and to put in some practice. Here a few of my favorites of the Gonsalves Ohana. I admit, I just want to show off because I am so please with how some of these turned out...

I suppose I should get back to "work" and get some more stuff done. Not everything is organized and packed yet. We don't have THAT much stuff... but a lot of it goes into miscellaneous piles... what a pain.

Did I mention that Ezekiel's bottom teeth are breaking through. Well, they are. And it's not very fun, but he's being tough.

Until next time.

That was nice of you to do.

And I don't think you're insane for going back to Utah :)

Those pictures are gorgeous! I really like the one with the little boy at the waters edge. So, I LOVE road trips. We should totally go to Vegas sometime during the winter to get away from the snow!

Well make sure to plan on a ROAD TRIP down here to AZ. I really wish we were in Utah so we could hang out more often. But maybe in time we will be able to.

I LOVE that second-to-last shot with the kid on the beach. The vignette on that puts so much character to the image. Awesome work!
