This is more "for the record". One of Makoa's most notorious acts as of late, is putting Ziek's toes or fingers in his mouth... and slowly increasing the pressure until either 1) gets yelled at because someone has caught him or 2) successfully bites his brother. Well...
Ezekiel's bottom two teeth have come in and his top two are pretty much here. No kidding. He's 5 months old, which is "average", but anyway, he's got teeth. That's the point.
Ziek was laying next to me, and I was letting him suck on the soft part of my arm to keep him happy. Well, I guess he was expecting something to come out of my arm, so he started biting and pulling a bit - which hurt. Makoa heard me yelp and came over out of concern, and I explained to him that Ezekiel (who was again, happily sucking away) bit me. Makoa thought it was interesting that this baby was sucking my arm so... I let him try.
It was cute and Makoa thought it tickled, and then he quickly pulled his arm back because Ezekiel had BIT him! Makoa had two little teeth marks on his arm! I couldn't help but chuckle because I knew this day would come!
Needless to say, I'm not too worried about Ezekiel being able to defend himself from his big brother.
Now Makoa is walking around showing my cousin and uncle his battle wound. It's per-i-ty funny. Poor Makoa. This is just the beginning...

Oooh...it hurts when they start biting. It will be soon and we will all be feeling the effects of Kiana's up and coming teeth!!!
That's called #2 syndrome! As a #2, I understand what it means! I'm not sure where you are in the Cram lineup, so you may already understand this phenomenon. Being #2 means that until you learn to defend yourself properly, you have to find passive aggressive ways to get back at #1 while making it look like it was instigated by #1. It's a way of chiseling down the defenses of #1 who, until #2 learns better, has had pretty much full reign. Way to go ziek! Way to learn young!
