Mele Kalikimaka!
Another year is coming to a close. Can you believe it? 2009 is just around the corner!
2008 was full of more adventures for us! Here’s a recap.
On May 5, 2008 we had our 2nd son, Ezekiel Ka’imi’Okapono States. He was 6 lbs 9 oz, 19 inches long. Now he is 7 months old, 25 lbs and an over-all very happy baby. His nicknames are (but not limited to) these: Ziek, Zieky, Ziggy, Izzy, E-Z, Ka’imi, Ka’i and Pono. He enjoys any attention and he smiles and laughs often! We are blessed to have another child and extra lucky to have such a sweet one!
Makoa turns 2 years old on December 28th! He’s a very active boy, and enjoys jumping, climbing, throwing, kicking (soccer balls), building, playing, watching Madagascar (“Zebra”) and Shrek 2 (“Donkey”), riding dirt bikes with daddy (well, practically anything with daddy!), and trying new things. He is learning his manners (please and thank yous) and how to play “not-so-rough” with his baby brother, whom he adores.
Alicia is still, thankfully, a stay-at-home-mom… and, thankfully, still loves it! She reclaims her sanity through blogging, her photography, and anything “Twilight”. She continues to learn and grow in her Photography and truly enjoys it! She also provides “Virtual Assistant Services” to small businesses.
Cameron received 5 PADI certifications (up to Master Diver)! He worked as a Snuba Underwater Tour Guide while we lived on Kauai. He is currently working for a sales company in Henderson, Nevada. He loves all things Alicia, Dundee United, Star Wars, and his 1972 Cutlass.
Malu & Ty (Cameron’s youngest brothers) are no longer living with us, and are now with their mother in American Fork, Utah.
In October, after living on Kauai for a year, we decided to move back to the “mainland”. We are making Henderson, Nevada our newest home and adventure.
We’ll keep this short and simple so you can enjoy your Holidays! Alicia regularly updates our family blog (who are we kidding, it’s Alicia’s blog!), so please feel free to check up on our latest adventures.
May the “official” recession of the economy not leave a damper in your Holidays or the year to come. But if it does, we love you… and understand.
Enjoy your loved ones and the yummy food this wonderful season! Always remember our Savior, but particularly during this time of year. He loves you. May you set New Year Resolutions that will bring you closer to Him.
