Makoa & Ezekiel Update

I am happy to announce that "Terrible Two" stage has a) not hit yet or b) isn't that bad. Makoa is learning about being a big brother and LOVES to play with Ezekiel! And by play, I mean feed him, bite his fingers (?!?!?) and lay on him. Ezekiel LOVES attention from Makoa - even if he's rough housing him. He happily tolerates just about anything Makoa does except for the biting (and it's just his chubby hands and fingers! Odd.) Makoa loves to watch "Kung Fu Panda" and "Tinkerbell" (the new one). Yes, I am probably crewing up my son for life letting him watch faeries... but I am the one that has to listen to it over and over! And of course, it's MY movie...I guess I'll just have to do damage control later.  Makoa is talking like a big boy now and understand about 80% of what we say. He repeats words (so we have to watch what we say!!) and is always coming up with new sentences! Some of the things he says just cracks me up and I'm trying to record them as best I can, thats why I added the "Makoa Says" on the right.)He's a bright kid. He's VERY active and loves to dance and rough-house with whoever will play him. (I blame that on his 4 teenage uncles that he lived with for a year!) He is learning his letters ("D" Daddy, "G" Gramma, "B" Baby), and how to count to ten. At the park, he can go down the really big slides all by himself! He's not always aware of his surroundings and will often through fits which end with him smacking his head against... something... (a wall, a toy, the floor, a table, Ka'imi). He likes to watch mom cook (LOVES to sit on the counter with me and "help" me by getting into and touching EVERYTHING and ANYTHING until I can't stand it anymore and I set him back on the floor, which results in a fit, which results in him throwing himself and bonking his head...). He's starting to get a little more sneaky... he'll hide when he's getting into something he knows he shouldn't. He has also been blaming Ka'imi for stinky diapers and messes. I dont know if he really is trying to shift the blame. I can't quite figure out whats going on in that clever brain of his!

Ka'imi is just a bundle of happiness... mostly. If he's fed (and my fed, I mean stuffed) and rested he is the sweetest thing. Super smiley and just waiting for someone to pick him up or smile at him! He's really crawling now, and he can pull himself up on... anything. (A person, a couch, a box, a toy, a bed...). He's just growing so quickly! He's probably about 26 lbs now. I suspect he will start thinning out a little now that he's more active (which makes me a little sad! I LOVE his chunk!). He has 7 teeth (4 on top, 3 bottom) now and is officially weened and taking a bottle or sippy cup. He also loves his baby cereal and any form of noodles (or pasta)... which works out great because we eat a LOT of noodles. We still haven't stuck him with either "Ezekiel" or "Ka'imi". He's SO both!  And both names, we love! Again, future damage control on this one too.

I dont have any pictures to post (surprising, I know!). But Will soon. I'm itching for another photo shoot, and Cam does NOT want to be my model... so I guess my cute boys will just have to fill in... again! haha. What good sports.
