A Good Morning greeting from Ka'imi who is 9 months old today!!!
A very picturesque picture (haha) of me and my boys taken with my handy dandy camera phone by my 3 year old cousin, Stockton.
Makoa has a thing for pantries. Every home we visit, he heads straight for their pantry. like a magnet. Looking for anything sweet or tasty within his reach. He knows he gets in trouble every time he sneeks treats, but he does is every.time. When I'm saying something along the lines of "Makoa, please don't go in there!" He'll usually respond with something like "No, Mom. Bye, Mom!" as he starts to close the pantry door with him inside... every.time! This kid has a MAD sweet tooth which really trips me out because it like controls him and if I suggest in any way, shape or form ("no" "not now" "maybe later") he just bursts into tears and cries really loud which is kind of embarrassing when we're at someones house. every.time. Though, I will say the crying is getting shorter and shorter.
ANYWAY! So the following pictures are from yesterday when we were visiting my Aunt (yes, also the same visit he decided to color his tummy) he got in their pantry, climbed up on the little step stool, reached for something, slipped and smacked him mouth on the tall garbage can before he hit the floor. He was mostly undamaged except for a small cut inside his lip. It had a fat lip for a while, but when I took him in the bathroom to clean up the blood, I showed him the inside of his lip so he could see the owie and he was fascinated! He kept walking around "showing" everyone the inside of his lip. Boys!

i am starting to see cam in makoa
just wanted to tell you that I am using your blog music as my radio. I LOVE some of the songs on your playlist.
Hi Alicia, it's Elise. Just wanted to say that I completely understand about the sweet tooth! My boy is exactly the same, with the screaming and yelling, and the disregarding (for us it's climbing on the counter to the snack cupboard). I just have to tell myself that no one minds it as much as I do. Besides, your boy is so cute, I can't imagine that anyone would mind the outburst.
And so sorry to hear about the lip. Those accidents aren't too fun.
