For Easter this year we had a simple, lovely day. In the morning, I watched "Testaments" with Makoa and Ka'imi. Makoa seemed interested in learning more about Jesus, and how he died and was resurrected. After church, we went to my mother-in-law's for an Easter egg hunt with 3 of the cousins. It was torture for Makoa to have to eat dinner before he could have any sugar - but needlesstosay - he survived! Here are a few pictures from the day...
Makoa was "all business" collecting candy-filled eggs!
Kiki, 4, was the first to fill her little sack with eggs!
Ka'imi didn't really know what to do... but did find two eggs that were strategically set up for him to find! He mostly loved banging them together (until they cracked open and the candy toppled out!)
Again, can you see the determination on his face? All Business!
"Obaachan" filled Spiderman Easter baskets for the kids.
Ka'imi mostly enjoyed making a mess!
And making us giggle. He's such a curious little boy!!
