Today Makoa declared that he no longer wants to be a baby and he wants to be a big boy and use the toilet and drink from a big-boy cup and not take a nap. Yes, he really listed those things! So he’s in underwear, no more sippy cups (unless were in the car or something) and he hasn’t taken a nap this week. This is kind of HUGE for me! We’ll see how long this lasts, but it really seems like he has grasped the concepts and is ready to be a big boy… or at least on the right path. Wow.

Wow! That's all it took for Maddie as well. One day, she came to me and told me that she wanted to wear big girl panties. Once they decide, it's done!
that's exactly what dallin did as far as the potty training went. He just said he wanted to wear skippies like his friend carter and poof, done. we never went through the terrible nightmares you hear about. i think it's because he was old enough to understand. too bad about makoa's naps though...i hope he's keeping it together:)
