Tonight, while I was tucking Makoa into bed, he wanted Cameron to read him a story. I told him no, it was too late for that. He told me then just to ask Dad to come up so he could talk to him. I told Makoa I would ask Dad, but he might say yes or he might say no. Makoa responded, “Okay, Mom. You ask Dad and if he says ‘no’, then I will just say ‘shucks!’”.
Last night, Ka’imi (2 years old) was being naughty when he was supposed to be in bed, so he got a few spanks. Makoa (3) tells me, “Mom, you know, you’re not a very hard spanker.”
