What a Day!

Quickly, before I walk out the door to discuss "A Tale of Two Cities" (which I couldn't grt into let alone finish right now...) I wanted to express my gratitude.

Today was an exceptionally blessing-filled day, I feel like I have to write it down.

This morning I got a phone call from my aunt who has acces to an ultra sound machine, she invited me to come have one. I am almost 19 weeks pregnant and have yet to see a Dr because of insurance issues, so this came as a huge blessing. I was happy to have the chance to confirm my pregnancy and make sure the little sucker was healthy and that all this craziness isn't in my head! :) We're per-i-tty sure it's a boy! (She isn't "qualified" to say, but I feel good about it.) Later, I'm sure I will have that confirmed by someone "qulified". I love my aunt dearly and am amazed and humbled by how much she has done for me and my little family. She is more of a friend than just a family member. Thank you, Christy.

Then I was starting to stress out about Christmas - mostly the lack of cha-ching to do the things I want to right now, if you know what I mean. We're good and taken care of, we just don't necessarily have a lot of cushion right now - and well, there's just stuff I want to get done! Anyway, the very same day the stress is starting to kick in, Cameron receives a Christmas bonus. I nearly cried. It is exactly what we need.

That leads me to to express an over all feeling of deep appreciation for Cameron's employer. Ever since the company Christmas Party, and we got to meet everyone, I have had an incessant feeling of gratitude that Cameron is a part of this company. What good, appreciative, generous people run it! They have shown and expresssed to Cameron that they appreciate his hard work, and at the same time, we are so grateful that he has this job! Did Imention his boss gave us a Honey-Baked Ham to top ot all off - and it was delicious.

Cameron is a natural teacher and we are incredibly blessed that he gets to do it for a living! I enjoy listening to him teach and I am constantly impressed with his teaching style and the responses he gets from his students - they love him! It's so rewarding to see Cameron excel and be successful at what he does!

We are healthy. I cannot espress enough how grateful I am for that.

We have a warm home to live in, warm beds to sleep in and warm water to bathe in. Despite the freezing tempertures outside the walls of our home.

I have amazing parents who have taught, loved, trusted and encouraged me to keep fighting a good fight. I will eternally be grateful for all the truths they taught me and the examples they set for me.

I am grateful for the experiences I have had in my life, that have solidified my knowledge that my Savior, Jesus Christ, lives! And that I have a Father in Heaven who loves and has a plan for me.

Oh my gosh, I could go on and on right now. There is so much for me to be grateful for!

But I really have to get going right now... :)
