A Coconut Adventure

We arrived on Kaua'i late Tuesday night (10:30 pm HI time, which would be 2:30am Utah time). The boys were troopers and we only had a few, small outbursts/incidents during the 14 1/2 hours of airports and plane rides. They weren't the problem. Take offs and landings were awful for my already queasy self. Did I mention that I'm pregnant? Well, I am. 11 weeks. So that may have been part of the problem. Flying was rough. But we made it!

Yesterday was mostly our recovery day. We ran a few errands and had lunch from The Fish Express - Cameron's favorite place to get fresh fish. His favorite is the Furukaki Ahi. We also tried some with macadamia nuts and this amazing sauce. I didn't order, so I'm not sure what it's called but it. was. Amazing!

Cameron went to the golf course to hit some balls at the driving range.

My sister, Megan and our niece, Sianni came over to my parents' house where we're staying. Megan just finished her last day of school and graduates/walks on the 11th! So proud of her hard work! She's really great with children and she'll be a great teacher!

We all went to the local farmer's market to get coconuts for the boys, and I actually got a few pictures. Oh yeah, the boys didn't like the coconut juice or meat. Lame sauce! Good thing the rest of us could appreciate it!

When were leaving, I was feeling just a tad defeated that the boys didn't like fresh coconut, and as we were loading the kids up I said to Makoa, "Well, that was an adventure" and Makoa replied, "Yeah! A coconut adventure!" That made me smile.
