Advenure Summaries, Sunday, May 27th- Thursday, May 31st

Sunday, the 27th, was lovely. The weather was perfect (as it often is on Sundays). But the church meetings were uplifting and inspiring as well. It was mom's 49th birthday, and she asked that we help with things around the house for her birthday. I cleaned out the refrigerator. =) We had a big game of Bananagrams going on and ended with an elimination round... my dad won.

Monday, the 28th, was my dad's 50th birthday party. We spent the afternoon setting up the big tent, food and games at Kapahi Park. We had a great turn out and so much food! It was so nice to visit with many people I hadn't had a chance to visit with yet.  Sianni came to Kapa's with Megan for Papa's birthday party, and stayed the night. Papa stayed up telling the grandkids stories about when he was young (how priceless!) It was also Memorial Day. Cameron, Ty & Kiki took flowers to Ryan's grave site at the Orem Cemetery. They both sent pictures to my phone. What a thoughtful thing to do!

Tuesday (the 29th), we spent time with Sianni. I painted her nails and we hung out at home and they played in the pool and played on whatever iphone/itouch/ipad they could get their hands on!

Wednesday, the 30th, Stephanie, Kunani & Maile Tuttle and Kamalani & Kapono Fulton and I went to Queens Bath. Megan watched my boys for me. It was such a fun day! We jumped off the rocks (about a 15-20 foot jump), searched for sea shells and tried to pry off Opihi. We saw turtles. Stephanie made musubis for lunch. It was wonderful to just swim and swim and not worry about my children for a few hours. it was rejuvenating. The hike out was hard and my legs screamed with pain during the last set of stair out. my legs are still sore two days later. But it was worth it!

Ahahahaha... Yep! That's me!

Thursday, May 31st, Stephanie, the little boys and I went to the Kaua'i Product Craft Fair in Kapa'a. The boys each got a sand-filled gecko or frog. We had Burger King for lunch. Went to the Opaeka'a Falls lookout. I took a nap when we came home. We watched The Return of the King.
