Yesterday, Ka'imi put on a circus with his toys. The instructions I received as the sole member of the audience was, "No talking, mom. Only laughing." I pushed the limits and got away with cheering and clapping as well.
I also began reading "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" to Makoa and Ka'imi before bed. We read the first chapter last night and I think it is age appropriate for comprehension, and it helps that they have seen both versions of the movie, so they better understand what is going on. I am excited to introduce my boys to chapter books! Oh the adventures that are to be had!
