We didn't stay over night, but we spent the day at Anahola Beach where our ward is having their camp out. Makoa loved the freedom (we've been cooped inside for a little too long.) and enjoyed eating sand, playing with crabs, hanging out with his "friends" (whom he picks on in nursery), eating good food, freedom, playing soccer, eating pretzels, all the attention, freedom... do I mention the freedom? It was wonderful to have so many people willing to help out with Makoa in addition to his 4 uncles, 2 aunts and grandparents who were also there! The people in our ward adore him... and he loves them too! He's sorta everyone's hanai (adopted) grandbaby or cousin. I got to relax and take a nap in my mom guys' tent with Ezekiel and read some more of "Scarlet Letter", while Cameron got to go surf (without a time-limit)! Here are some pictures from our fun day yesterday!
Makoa hanging out with Kanoi (he's bit her ear once in nursery), and Mikyla (he tried to drag her across the nursery room and then bite her toes). What a Bruiser! (His uncles have gotten in trouble for him because all they do is wrestle, bite, and try to scare him!) I'll save that story for another post.
Ezekiel spending some "quality time" with daddy! (Any time is "quality time"...)
Makoa & Mom. This is his tired/bored face (in this case, VERY tired!)
Tyler, Malu, Cam, Josh & Ty... striking a muscle man pose. (After helping with an Eagle Scout project)
