So it truly begins. Just last week, Makoa learned, and successfully used the long-dreaded word "no". At first I didn't acknowledge it's use, but with 4 uncles and two aunts in the house... he quickly learned that when he says this, he gets a reaction! Now, I can "officially" say it is his most-used word (right up there with "mom.") Yesterday, in church (sacrament meeting, no less) he was yelling "noooooo" at anyone who tried to make him do anything, talk to him in a tone he didn't like, tease him, or just looked at him wrong! Unfortunately, he's just so darn cute when he says it, that we have to stifle our laughter and put on a poker face (SO HARD!). I know the cuteness will wear off REAL FAST... but I guess we can just enjoy it until it does.

Haha! Got to love the word "no"! Enjoy it while it's still cute...when they are five, not so much!
my son's favorite of the moment, that he repeats in nursery ALL the time while learning how to SHARE the toys:
"DAS MINES!!!"
