I Quit!

Holy smokes. I about had a nervous breakdown this morning! I've been wanting to take pictures of the boys in their new outfits, but can no longer do it on my own since there are 2 of them plus I take the pictures... so Cam finally agreed to help me out this morning.  But I had NO IDEA what I was getting into. I figured it would be "easy" enough, Makoa has always been a pretty good model and as long as 'Imi stays happy...

Yah. Right. I have advanced (digressed?) to a whole 'nother level of "photographer". I have never before wanted to swat my "subject"... but Makoa was absolutely terrible! He would not sit still for more than a millisecond for his own picture let alone trying to get him to hold the baby, or be NEAR the baby for that matter. The pictures we did get are a true, modern day MIRACLE! The lighting just wasn't working for me, so I opted for Black and White which, believe me, looks a lot better than in color in this instance.

Anyway, it was way stressful trying to get them to be still, look and the camera and then snapping the shot before one of them moved/cried/hit/fell/blinked/stopped smiling... I think you get the picture (no pun intended). Not a very good time of day for either of them. I don't even think I dare go for a re-shoot. These just might have to do for Makoa's 18 (slash 19) month pictures and Ka'imi's 3 months.

Holy Smokes. Anyway, thank goodness their cute. Enjoy!
