Golf, Burgers and a "See you later"

Tuesday, Cameron went golfing in the morning (he left a little after 7 and didn't get home until after 1pm). This is pretty typical of his golf days. Of course, he didn't actually start golfing until around 9. I'm trying really really hard not to resent him playing golf, and I'm struggling. That is all I will say about that.

When he got home, we went to lunch at Bubba Burgers with a friend, and I remember the burgers being much bigger and a little better. (Of course, it's probably been 4 years since we've eaten there!). Maybe I've just been spoiled by the In and Out around the corner back in Utah... mmm... I could go for a DoubleDouble right about now... =)

We ran a few errands before taking Cameron to the airport. It was harder saying "see you in 4 weeks" than I thought it would be. It didn't help that Makoa was so upset and really didn't want his dad to leave. He cried himself to sleep in the car, and cried some more that night after he talked to Cameron on the phone for a few minutes. It was tender, but very emotional for me. He really loves his dad.

I watched the season finale of "Once Upon a Time" to distract myself after the boys were all asleep. I loved it. It's a really great season if you want something to watch. Yes, there was closure at the end of the season, which I hardly expected since this show is written by the same people who wrote "LOST". Once Upon a Time is scheduled for Season 2, so I'm a happy camper. I don't watch many shows... currently, that's the only one, until I can find a way to watch Downton Abbey Season 2 for free. =)

I got a call from Cam this morning around 6:45am (his flight left Kaua'i yesterday at 6:45pm) and he had arrived in Salt Lake and had just been picked up. That is a rough flight (2 stops)... and I get to do it with my kids (and my helpful sister Stephanie) in 4 weeks... I am so not excited.
