Soccer, Breakfast, Swimming and a BBQ

Saturday was a fun-filled day. In the morning, my mom and Stephanie took Makoa and Ka'imi to Sianni's championship soccer game (she won!) and Ikaika and I went to breakfast with one of my oldest friends, Elizabeth. I've known her since I was 4, and we have kept in touch through all these years. We have mostly lived in different states, but she's back on Kaua'i, so it's so fun to catch up with her. We ate at Olympic Cafe and everything I had to eat was delicious.

After the soccer game, my sister Megan took Makoa and Ka'imi to Fun Factory and McDonalds. They had so much fun with her (she kind of spoils them, but I suppose that's what Aunties are for...)

We had a few hours before going swimming/BBQing at the Tuttle's home. So I baked a cake with the intentions of making cake pops but it was taking too long for the cake to cool all the way through, so I'll have to finish making those today. I had a nap while Ikaika napped, and then talked to Cameron for a little while.

Megan made california rolls, casserole style and we got all the boys "loaded" up in the vehicles and headed to Anahola for some good fun! We swam and swam and swam and swam. My mom and dad (well, all of us really) were trying to teach Makoa and Ka'imi how to swim... that was a challenge. We'll have to work on that some more. I raced Steph from one long end to the other and beat her both ways... which absolutely winded me. We went down the slide many times and just had fun! It felt so good to just swim! We al slept pretty good last night. I know I was so exhausted...

The food was great (it always is!) Hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad, california rolls... mmmmm

We got home and the boys and I fell asleep pretty quick.
