Relief Society, More Birthdays and Geckos

Sunday was a beautiful day! Trying to keep the boys out of the pool was a never-ending battle! We attended church at my home ward, Kapa'a 2nd Ward. It was really great, and especially nice that I got to sit in Relief Society Meeting (it the hour the women meet and learn), since I teach primary (the kids) at home and miss out on that. It was also wonderful to see so many familiar faces! So many memories at that church building, with those people!

After church, we had a get-together for Stephanie's 15th birthday (yes, May birthdays are out of control in my family!) even though it's today - so Happy Birthday to Stephanie! AND to my sweet Ikaika who is also One year old today!!!

The little boys got restless and of course started getting into trouble, so to distract them, Cameron caught a couple of geckos. I don't think my boys have ever seen one before, so they were fascinated! I had gotten them a little bug catching kit thing for this very purpose, but they had already collected worms for Papa's garden so  Cam threw them in there with the worms! They watched the geckos for a while and then let them free, unharmed, if not a little frightened. (They kept their tails and all!)

You can see the gecko and the worms in this one

Two geckos and the little hand of a boy who is very concerned that they might escape

Here are more pictures that Aunty Stella (Greenleaf) too that night!
